Review

Megan Review: I swear this series is brilliant and it's all because the authors put as much thought and feeling towards them as they would a full novel. This was one of my favorites, and not just because I may be biased when it comes to Cameo Renae books, nope, it's because it had everything you would want and more. I was hooked from page one and couldn't put it down. I so need more of these characters but loved what was given for this installment.

Jesse Review: I have purchased three of Vanessa Van Edwards’ online classes and this book is a great addition to that collection. There are parts that are duplicative but that was good for me as this format helped distill the knowledge even more. If you are struggling to find meaningful connections with people, either personal or professional, this book will leapfrog you ahead of your peers. Using people’s words, using surprise and having a story toolbox handy has transformed my social skills.

Sarah Churchill Review: I'm not normally an autobiography fan. I mostly read fiction. But Yeonmi's story is just... you know how they say truth is stranger than fiction? That.

We have to bear in mind here that I met the lovely, kind and humble lady herself before I read this. I'll hold my hands up that that probably had an impact on how much this book touched me.

Split into three parts to document her escape from North Korea, set in NK, China and South Korea, the account is heartbreaking, fascinating and punctuated by th

Gabby Review:

Sums up my feelings on this book really. It was cute. That was about it. It did have a nice storyline of reconnecting two people and having them both learn to trust each other, despite not being able to several times. It had good supporting characters of the friends. And that was it. I definitely didn't hate this book, but I don't love it.

It was cute, short, sweet.

So I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars, but think I'll stay with my three because this book didn't really do anything to piss me off.

Ahmad Sharabiani Review: To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee
To Kill a Mockingbird is a novel by Harper Lee published in 1960. It was immediately successful, winning the Pulitzer Prize, and has become a classic of modern American literature. The plot and characters are loosely based on Lee's observations of her family, her neighbors and an event that occurred near her hometown of Monroeville, Alabama, in 1936, when she was 10 years old. The story is told by the six-year-old Jean Louise Finch.
