Emily Review: I'm not quite done with Robert Hughes's excellent history of The System, otherwise known as the settlement of a continent with petty criminals, but since I'm actually going to Australia in a week (!), and I can see the writing on the wall as far as things getting crazier before I leave, I wanted to be sure to sneak in a blog entry now. More specifically, I wanted to recommend this book highly; despite the often brutal facts of the case, I have seldom enjoyed a history more.

Brittany Review: Thank you to Goodreads/author for giving me this book for review. Unfortunately, I have been very let down by this book. It's so, boring. Not exciting at all. The writing is just so all over the place. This book feels like it belongs on a required reading list at school and I didn't like any of those books. When I've started reading this story I was so excited about it! The story was beautiful and I was sure that it was a 5 star book! But then started the problems.....The plot was not well thought. There were events taking place that were creating an anticipation for me for what it could come out of them and then nothing! No explanation, no what happened next, no why....For example the relationship o

Lynsey A Review: The last book is the best in the series, IMO. I laughed out loud several times and I don't recall doing that with any of the other books. Unlike the previous book, Savor the Moment, this one wasn't bogged down with exercise and friend time. We got to see quite a bit of Malcolm and Parker together. They are a cute couple and because they were so different they fit together perfectly.

This was definitely an improvement over the other books and absolutely a great way to end the series.

Who couldn't
