Melissa ♥ Dog Lover ♥ Martin Review: 6/29/16 UPDATE: I have since watched the movie and although I really liked the movie, it doesn't hold a candle to the book. But you can imagine that a book this size can't be put into one movie sitting. And where the book made me cry a lot, the movie didn't.

I spent over 12 hours today finishing this book. 1037 pages! 1. Because I wanted to know what was going to happen! 2. I have no sort of life so I can do this from time to time.

I can not believe it took me so long to read this book! I didn't t

Glenn Rolfe Review: Good, interesting piece.

I was pulled into this one. Howard is quite the interesting character, and his relationship with Mrs. S is intriguing.
It seemed like the middle of the story is missing, which is why I gave it 3 stars. I know that was done intentionally, but I would have liked a more solid ending.
Still a good story overall.
I give THE SIGN OF THE BEAST 3 stars!

Maciek Review: Robert Harris's new historical novel Munich takes him back to the subject which brought him to fame over 25 years earlier - Nazi Germany, in which he set his bestselling debut Fatherland. In a recent interview the author describes his fascination with the subject of the book, the infamous Munich

destiny ☠ howling libraries Review: Kim Reaper is a positively adorable story about two college girls falling in love and fighting baddies! Becka is an innocent baker looking for a fun date with her crush, only to find out that her crush, Kim, is a part-time grim reaper! Antics ensue, and the entire ordeal is precious, hilarious, fun, and diverse! While the writing was cheesy and young at points, I had so much fun reading Kim Reaper and would totally pick up the next volume.

Thank you to Oni Press and NetGalley for providing me wi

Anton Review: Don't get me wrong, I have lots of respect for survivors of World War 2 and the Holocaust (especially Jewish survivors) and their stories, but this book was not for me. I tend to dislike biographies/nonfiction works, they simply do not entertain me. And even from an academic perspective (I read this for school) I don't think I learnt anything new that I haven't heard before in our countless units on the Holocaust. Had their been fewer info dumps and unnecessarily complex vocabulary, perhaps I wo
