Samadrita Review: Consider this not a ground-breaking work of literature. Consider this not a piece of fiction boasting an avant-garde mode of narration.
Consider it not a commentary on the concept of subjugation of the weak by the ones holding the reins. Consider it not a thinly veiled feminist diatribe either.

Instead, consider The Handmaid's Tale an almost physical experience. Consider Margaret Atwood a fearless deliverer of unpleasant news - a messenger unafraid of dishing out the bone-chilling, cruel, unalter

Lisa Vegan Review: This is a thoroughly delightful and brilliant book. I chuckled and chortled all the way through this book; it’s hilarious. There are many interesting characters and I am eager to read the rest of this series. I’m not sure that the successive books will also get 5 stars from me: the clever premise might get a tad old; I’ll have to see. This unusual story is a bit difficult to define. It fits multiple genres: sci-fi, mystery, humor, fantasy, and fiction. And the author manages to create an entire

Sherri Vigil Review: This book was published this year and I understand it is the 2nd of a series by this author. The scenario takes place shortly following the VietNam war. I'm enjoying modern mystery/thrillers with modern technology, cell phones, forensics, DNA, GPS, etc. If a reader doesn't care about those details, then I would say, imho, that this was a good story. So, moving on with the review...

I loved Tyra. She is beautiful, smart, sassy and she is also sweet and vulnerable. She was not exactly the type of woman I would think would end up with a badass biker. Truthfully, I found her kinda dorky.

Exhibit "A"

“Uh… you pledged your troth to me, Tack. It’s not like y

Kevin Review: Sort of an anti self-help book, meaning that it actually contains a useful philosophy, which is (mostly) just Buddhism dressed up a little for millennials. It's not as douchey as the title would have you think, and it's very entertaining. There's a lot of cross-over with Carl Sagan's The Demon-Haunted World, surprisingly. A lot of good advice for those, like me, who over-stress themselves about mostly nothing at all. I really loved it; I'll probably circle back to it a few more times in the futu
