Enchantress debbicat ☮ Review: AWE..I just loved this and all of her little pets. Short little read about young Frida Kahlo and her love for animals. I enjoyed the illustrations of her pets, using bold and bright colors like she used in her own artwork. We see two monkeys, a parrot, three dogs, two turkeys, an eagle, a black cat (my favorite of course), and a fawn. (second favorite)-Turkeys are believed to have been sacred in ancient Mexican cultures. They are were viewed as "jewelled birds".

A quote from the book, "They (tur

Lola Reviewer Review: The perfect gif to express my feelings toward this four page story:

You were on your way home when you died…

Click HERE to see what happens next. After all, YOU are the hero.

I can't review this the way I review novels. And I can't say anything, because you would be furious at me; I shan't spoil it for you. All I can say is that Andy Weir is one deep guy. Deep deep deep. What I loved most about this - very - short story?

Kony Review: Ideal advice for folks whose top priority is to achieve elite levels of professional success by capitalistic metrics -- namely by jumping through golden hoops very swiftly. If your life goals sound similar, he's got tips for making it happen.

This book is less useful for people whose priorities include critiquing/reforming elitist institutio

Sophie Review: Review for vols 1-3.

I have to say that this didn't quite turn out the way I would have liked at all. At first I was intrigued by the supernatural aspect of it - I love the idea of people being able to talk to animals - and I would have preferred if the emphasis on Shinichiru's training hadn't been lost in exchange for the emphasis on the romance part. Surprisingly enough, I didn't actually mind the romance between Narusawa and Shinichiru, despite the huge age difference (which reminded me of ho

White House Public Library Review: Monster Party is a really fun book with rhyme and has a really nice flow to it. Monster gets ready to go to the party and then when it’s time to go he’s sad until he gets home and finds another invitation in his mailbox! It also teaches a sequence of events when getting ready to leave the house. I can’t wait to read it to my kids in the classroom!
