Ratscats Review: I love food and I love hot sexy chefs with potty mouths.
I remember first discovering Anthony Bourdain on the Food Network many years ago. It was 3am and I was unable to sleep and here was this brooding, hot piece of ass chain smoking and touring Russia.
I never remembered his name but he haunted my dreams until I re-discovered him years later on the Travel Channel show, No Reservations.
In Kitchen Confidential, he is able to translate his sultry self onto paper.
But he is not just a piece of mea

Michelle Review: Great book!!

I really enjoyed this book. The story was cute and sexy. With loads of sexual tension thrown in. I really liked Dex and Jamie's characters. From the start they were fighting with each. They could never see eye to eye on anything. Dec would just get on Jamie's nerves and she would the same. Basic this is how the story goes. But the story is really good and full of very funny parts. It has my laughing out loud in quite a few parts. I really like this author her writing is really good.

Becca Davis Review: This book is very interesting, as I have never heard about the Emmett Till case. The writing style was very heartfelt and sincere, about the fourteen year old boy who was murdered in Mississippi. Some may say it was the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement and some may disagree; either way this story is very captivating and captured my heart. For me, Crowe made it feel like I was actually in the story. Not only does he show the reader Emmett's side of the story but he shows other peoples accou

Ren S. Review: Nope. Nope nope nope nope nope. The fact that has Austen's name even attached to it makes me want to hurl a little bit. The beauty of Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion, and so on lies, for me at least, in Austen's ability to portray people and the nuances of human interaction. This novel bears no parallel in response. The female lead is a train wreck, and I couldn't find it in me to feel any sympathy for her due to her actions. There was a spot of sympathy in the momen

Fionnuala Review: The odds were that I wouldn't like this book. It had many of the features I found fault with in the contemporary bestseller "One Day" by David Nicholls: a frustrating main character who falls deeply and irrevocably in love with someone clearly unsuitable who doesn't initially return his regard; many occasions when the pair might have come together but were prevented by misunderstandings and other frustrating circumstances; in short, too much melodrama right up to the very end. So why did I like
