Petros Triantafyllou Review: This still gives me goosebumps.

"I got a bit of prophecy," the old assassin said. "Not enough to be useful, you know. Just glimpses. My wife dead, things like that to keep me up late at night. I had this vision that I was going to be killed by forty men, all at once. But now that you're here, I see they're all you. Durzo Blint."

Phrynne Review: I really enjoyed this twenty second outing with Jack Reacher. It started out smart and funny and developed into an excellent story.

Of course Jack's latest girlfriend from the last book disappeared instantly. Not surprising really since he doesn't own a suitcase let alone a house. Not good relationship material. Good story material though which of course is why we all keep reading him:)

Basically a brilliant way of passing a few hours without overtaxing the brain. One star off for a poor ending. A

Peggy Jaeger Review: The cover of this book took me a little by surprise because it's not a central theme about a wedding, but about a couple who meet at a wedding. Having said that, forget about the cover. The story is strong enough on its own.

Jon and Greta meet at a wedding, as part of a "fake" dating arrangement, and then life becomes a little more real, as life often does while you are trying to make other plans, or as Greta was, avoid something by being a little less than forthcoming.

Usually, I love

Jax Review: A massive tome with a spine thicker than Arnold Schwartzenegger’s forearm, Pillars looks intimidating enough to make even the most avid readers wary; its 973 pages are densely packed with unforgiving walls of 8-point text with nary a line break in sight. Before I was more than a hundred pages in, however, it became apparent that length was among the least of this behemoth of a book’s problems.

Follett's concept—a medieval, generation-spanning epic built around the construction of a cathedral—is
